Altrua Health Share Membership is a Health Care Sharing Ministry that facilitates member-to-member sharing. All Members’ monthly contributions are deposited into an Escrow Account from which all eligible medical needs are shared on a  member to member basis. 

Altrua Health share is not an insurance and the ministry is not an insurance company.  It is recognized by Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) as a Health  Care Sharing Ministry and all active  members are exempt from the tax penalty.
